King of Kotha is the story of Kannan Bhai (Dulquer Salmaan), a ruthless gangster who is the undisputed king of Kotha. Kannan Bhai is feared and respected by everyone in Kotha, and he rules his kingdom with an iron fist.
However, Kannan Bhai’s reign of terror ends when Inspector Shahul (Chemban Vinod Jose) arrives in Kotha. Shahul is an incorruptible police officer determined to bring Kannan Bhai to justice.
Shahul begins to crack down on Kannan Bhai’s gang, and he soon realizes that the only way to defeat Kannan Bhai is to turn his men against him. Shahul begins to play Kannan Bhai’s gang members against each other, and he eventually turns Tony (Shabeer Kallarakkal), Kannan Bhai’s most trusted lieutenant, against him.
With Tony’s help, Shahul can defeat Kannan Bhai and bring him to justice. Kannan Bhai is arrested and imprisoned, and Kotha is finally free from his tyranny.
