Chandramukhi 2 is the story of Senthilnathan (Raghava Lawrence), a psychiatrist who is called to exorcise the ghost of Chandramukhi (Kangana Ranaut) from a haunted palace. Senthilnathan is initially reluctant to take on the case. Still, he eventually agrees to help when he learns that Chandramukhi is the ghost of a woman wronged by her husband and his mistress.
Senthilnathan travels to the haunted palace and begins his exorcism ritual. However, he soon realizes that Chandramukhi is not the only ghost in the palace. There is also the ghost of Raja (Mansoor Ali Khan), the palace prince whom his wife and her lover murdered.
Senthilnathan must now find a way to exorcise Chandramukhi and Raja from the palace. In the process, he must also uncover the truth behind their deaths and help them to find peace.
